The Nordic Spa is the clearest expression of Viking's Scandinavian design brief and the onboard space guests most consistently single out. Crucially, thermal-suite access is included in the base fare — most competitors charge for the equivalent circuit.
The circuit follows the Nordic bathing tradition: a dry sauna with sea views, a steam room, a cold-water bucket shower, and a snow grotto where real snow falls in a refrigerated chamber. A heated hydrotherapy pool and heated loungers complete the sequence.
Treatments — massage, facials, and salon services — are charged separately and can be pre-booked. The fitness centre, sun deck, and main pool with its retractable roof sit alongside the spa on the same deck.
On the expedition ships Octantis and Polaris the spa is carried over largely unchanged, including the badstu sauna with a panoramic window facing the ice.
