TUI's European river ships are conventional 135-metre hulls fitted out to a contemporary British-market brief: light interiors, no formal nights and a single open-seating restaurant supplemented by a casual bistro.
Cabins are mostly French-balcony grades of around 15 square metres, with a small number of larger suites on the upper deck.
The onboard model matches Marella at sea: an all-inclusive drinks offer, a resident duo and a destination lecturer rather than production shows, and gratuities built into the fare.
Because the fare bundles UK regional flights and transfers, these ships sail with a near-uniformly British passenger list, which shapes everything from the tea service to the excursion pace.
