Silver Cloud was converted from a classic luxury ship to an ice-class expedition vessel in 2017, and now carries the highest expedition-staff-to-guest ratio in the market.
Guest numbers are capped at 200 in the polar regions to comply with landing regulations, served by an expedition team of up to 22.
The conversion added hull strengthening, a Zodiac fleet and expedition infrastructure while retaining the original butler-serviced suites and dining venues.
She works Antarctica and South Georgia in the austral summer and the Arctic, Svalbard and Greenland in the boreal season.
