Silversea sells two fare types, and the difference between them is where the holiday starts. Door-to-Door begins at the guest's front door; Port-to-Port begins at the gangway.
Door-to-Door includes private executive transfers from home to the airport, economy or business air depending on the voyage, a pre-cruise hotel night, and transfers at the destination.
Both fares include all onboard dining, beverages including premium spirits and wines, butler service in every suite, gratuities and Wi-Fi.
Port-to-Port strips out the travel elements for guests who prefer to book their own flights with miles or route via a stopover — usually the better value for anyone with a large airline balance.
Shore excursions are included on expedition voyages but charged separately on classic and contemporary sailings, which is the main structural difference from Regent.
