Seven Seas Mariner entered service in 2001 as the first all-suite, all-balcony ship in the industry, with Voyager following in 2003 on the same principle.
Both have been comprehensively refitted, most recently with the Explorer-class interior design language applied to suites, restaurants and public rooms.
At around 700 guests they slot between the smaller Navigator and the larger Explorer class, and their draught opens up ports the flagships cannot reach.
