Star of the Seas entered service in August 2025 as the second Icon-class ship and sister to Icon of the Seas. She is based year-round at Port Canaveral and operates the same seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean rotation including Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Star shares Icon's eight-neighbourhood layout and AquaDome architecture with detail refinements to the Suite Neighborhood, the Hideaway adults-only zone, and Category 6 waterpark configuration.
The Port Canaveral homeport gives Orlando-area guests direct access without the Miami drive, and Star has consistently sold out her first year of sailings.
For guests who cannot secure Icon fares from Miami, Star is the operationally identical alternative from a different Florida homeport.
