Odyssey of the Seas entered service in July 2021 as the fifth Quantum-class ship and second Quantum Ultra variant. She splits her year between Fort Lauderdale winter Caribbean sailings and Rome-based Mediterranean summers.

Odyssey introduced the SeaPlex plus expanded SkyPad VR bungee complex and carries the Quantum Ultra refinements — larger Solarium, expanded pool deck, and a fuller specialty-dining line-up than the original Quantum-class ships.

The Mediterranean summer deployment gives European guests a Quantum-class ship without transatlantic positioning, and Odyssey has become the class's flagship Europe operator.
