Icon of the Seas entered service in January 2024 as the largest cruise ship ever built, superseding the previous Oasis-class record holders. She is Royal Caribbean's Icon-class flagship and sails year-round seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Miami, including Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Icon is structured around eight themed neighbourhoods, each with distinct dining, entertainment, and outdoor programming — the most differentiated deck plan in mainstream cruising. AquaDome, the 40-metre glass structure at the bow, houses an all-day observation venue that transforms into an evening aerial-acrobatics theatre.
The waterpark (Category 6) is the largest afloat with six slides, and the Suite Neighborhood — a three-deck complex spanning the upper forward decks — carries the most complete Royal Suite Class product in the fleet.
Icon is LNG-powered and equipped with shore-power connectivity, making her the most environmentally advanced ship in the Royal fleet. Fares run at a materially higher premium than Oasis class.
