Icon Class is Royal Caribbean's post-2024 flagship generation and the largest cruise ships ever built. Icon of the Seas debuted in January 2024 and immediately took the world-record slot from the Oasis-class Wonder of the Seas; Star of the Seas followed in 2025, and a third sister (Legend of the Seas) is scheduled for 2026 delivery.
The class is structured around eight themed neighbourhoods — Central Park, Royal Promenade, Chill Island, Thrill Island, AquaDome, Suite Neighborhood, Surfside, and The Hideaway — each with its own dining, bars, and outdoor space. AquaDome is the signature architectural gesture: a 40-metre-diameter glass observation and entertainment venue at the bow of the ship.
Icon Class ships are LNG-powered and sail exclusively year-round Caribbean itineraries from Miami and Port Canaveral, including Perfect Day at CocoCay. Fares run at a materially higher premium than Oasis class — typically 20-30% more for equivalent cabin categories — and demand has consistently outstripped supply since launch.
