Sun Princess (2024) and Star Princess (2025) are the largest ships Princess has ever built and the first on a new LNG-capable platform from Fincantieri. At 177,800 GT they carry roughly 4,300 guests, but the design invests the extra volume in public space rather than cabin count.
The signature move is the Piazza — reworked into a three-deck glass sphere cantilevered over the ship's side, with an arena-format Princess Arena theatre and The Dome, a glazed indoor-outdoor pool complex forward, borrowed from Santorini's cave-pool architecture.
The class also introduced the Sanctuary Collection, a keycard-access adults-only enclave with its own restaurant and sun deck — Princess's answer to The Retreat and The Haven and the clearest sign of the line's premium drift.
