Princess sells one cruise fare with two optional bundles layered on top. The arithmetic is unusually favourable: if you drink at all, Plus almost always beats buying the components separately.
Princess Plus covers the Plus Beverage Package up to a per-drink cap, crew appreciation gratuities, one-device MedallionNet Wi-Fi, two casual dining meals, unlimited fitness classes, and desserts and juice bar items.
Princess Premier raises the drinks cap, upgrades to four-device Wi-Fi, adds unlimited speciality dining, unlimited casual dining, photo packages, premium desserts, and reserved theatre seating.
Standard fare — Princess Cruise Only — includes none of the above and is worth taking only for short port-intensive itineraries where you barely use the ship.
