Caribbean Princess (2004), Crown Princess (2006), Emerald Princess (2007) and Ruby Princess (2008) are the surviving core of the Grand class, a series that ran from 1998 and defined big-ship Princess for a generation.
The class is Panamax-adjacent in outlook: smaller and shallower than the Royal ships, which lets Princess run them on Panama Canal transits, Alaska Inside Passage sailings, and the more constrained Caribbean and Mediterranean ports.
All four have been through the Princess refurbishment programme, gaining MedallionClass technology, refreshed staterooms, and the current speciality dining line-up of Crown Grill and Sabatini's.
