Vista Class is represented in the current P&O fleet by a single ship, Arcadia (2005), built to the Holland America Vista platform and repurposed as one of P&O's two adults-only vessels.
At roughly 84,000 GT Arcadia is materially smaller than the family flagships and consequently reaches ports the Excel and Britannia classes cannot. She carries a more traditional cruise product — a two-tier main dining room, resident string quartet, extensive lecture and enrichment programme, and no children on board — that appeals strongly to a repeat British cruise audience.
Deployment is deliberately long-haul: Arcadia is the P&O ship most likely to run world sectors, Grand Voyages, and unusual itineraries such as the Amazon, Far East, and full world cruises.
