Azura entered service in April 2010 as Ventura's sister ship and now operates as P&O's second Caribbean fly-cruise flagship, alternating between winter sailings from Bridgetown and summer round-Britain programmes from Southampton.
Azura shares the Grand-class platform with Ventura but is deployed differently: her winter Caribbean season complements Arvia's larger Excel-class product with a slightly smaller ship at a lower fare point, opening the fly-cruise proposition to price-sensitive guests.
The onboard product carries the full P&O family line-up — children's clubs, headline entertainment, multiple pools — alongside speciality dining at Sindhu, Epicurean, and The Glass House. She completed a major mid-life refit in 2019 that brought her closer to Britannia standard.
Azura's Caribbean fly-cruise packages include charter flights from UK regional airports and typically undercut equivalent Arvia sailings by 10-20% on comparable cabin categories.
