    Part of the fleet

    Norwegian Cruise Line

The line that abolished fixed dining and formal nights — Freestyle Cruising, the widest speciality restaurant count at sea, and The Haven suite enclave.

    Introduced
    2015
    Gross tonnage
    164,600 – 169,100 GT
    Capacity
    3,900 – 4,000 (double)

Norwegian Escape (2015), Norwegian Joy (2017), Norwegian Bliss (2018) and Norwegian Encore (2019) make up the Breakaway Plus class — a stretched, heavily specified evolution of the Breakaway platform and still the largest ships in the fleet.

These are the maximalist Norwegian ships: two-level electric go-kart tracks on Joy, Bliss and Encore, laser tag arenas, the Aqua Park slide complex, an open-air Waterfront boardwalk, and up to 29 dining venues between complimentary and speciality.

Entertainment is the strongest in the fleet, with full Broadway licences — Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots and Six have all sailed on this class — plus the Cavern Club Beatles tribute and the Choir of Man.
