    MSC Yacht Club

    Back to MSC Cruises

The MSC Yacht Club is a gated luxury enclave built into every modern MSC ship, occupying the forward decks and accessed only by a dedicated key card. It is MSC's answer to Celebrity's Retreat and NCL's Haven and, on the World-class ships, is the most fully-developed ship-within-ship product in mainstream cruising.

The Yacht Club is a physical enclave, not a fare code. Guests enter through a private lobby with dedicated check-in, take a keyed elevator to the forward suites, and share an exclusive restaurant, lounge, top-deck pool, sundeck, and — on newer ships — a two-storey observation lounge. Butler service runs 24 hours, and drinks, wifi, and dining across the enclave are included in the fare.

Where it differs from The Retreat and The Haven is scale and completeness. On World Europa and World America the enclave carries several hundred guests across three decks with its own dining room open all day, meaningful outdoor space, and a physical separation from the rest of the ship that is more strictly enforced than the equivalent on Celebrity Edge-class or NCL Prima-class vessels.

Guests retain full access to the wider ship — specialty restaurants, entertainment, spa, casino — while non-Yacht Club guests cannot enter the enclave. The trade-off is that you pay a substantial premium (typically 2-3x an equivalent balcony fare) for what is effectively a boutique-luxury cruise operating inside a mass-market platform.
