Seaside Class was designed around a simple insight: Caribbean cruisers spend more time outdoors than Mediterranean ones. The ships feature a waterfront boardwalk wrapping deck 8, cascading pool decks aft, and glass-walled elevators facing the sea — a very different silhouette from MSC's earlier European-focused classes.
Four ships have been delivered: MSC Seaside (2017), MSC Seaview (2018), MSC Seashore (2021) and MSC Seascape (2022). The two Seaside EVO ships (Seashore and Seascape) are 20 metres longer, add an extra deck, and carry a materially larger Yacht Club than the original pair.
Deployment is split between year-round Caribbean sailings from Port Canaveral and Miami, and summer Mediterranean programmes for the European sisters. Seaside-class ships remain the most cost-effective way onto a modern MSC vessel in the US market.
