MSC Seaview entered service in June 2018 as the second Seaside-class ship, sister to MSC Seaside. She splits her year between summer Western Mediterranean cruises from Genoa and winter Brazil coastal sailings out of Santos.
Structurally identical to Seaside, Seaview inherits the same waterfront boardwalk, aft pool cascade and Yacht Club enclave. The stateroom mix is retuned slightly for European tastes — more inside and oceanview cabins, fewer connecting family cabins — but the guest experience is otherwise very similar.
The Brazilian deployment is strategically important: Seaview is the largest ship regularly homeported in South America, and her winter Santos programme makes MSC by some margin the market leader in that region.
