MSC Seaside launched in December 2017 as the first ship of the Seaside class and MSC's first vessel purpose-built around outdoor Caribbean cruising. She sails year-round from Port Canaveral on 3- to 7-night Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries.
Seaside's defining feature is her open-air architecture: a full waterfront boardwalk on deck 8 with al-fresco dining and glass-walled elevators, an aft cascade of pools and hot tubs, and generous outdoor sun deck space that makes better use of Caribbean weather than any prior MSC ship.
The Yacht Club is smaller than on the newer Seaside EVO sisters or the World-class ships, but remains a full ship-within-ship enclave with private restaurant, top-deck pool and butler service. For value-focused Caribbean cruisers, Seaside remains one of MSC's most competitively priced modern ships.
