MSC Magnifica entered service in March 2010 as the fourth and final Musica-class ship, with a slightly increased gross tonnage and revised aft arrangement over her sisters. She is MSC's regular World Cruise ship.
Magnifica is meaningfully the same platform as Musica, Orchestra and Poesia — same atrium, same restaurant mix — with a slightly enlarged upper deck arrangement and revised specialty dining. She has become the fleet's default long-itinerary and World Cruise ship, running MSC's roughly annual round-the-world programme.
For guests interested in extended sea voyages rather than short port-hopping itineraries, Magnifica is the ship in the fleet most consistently deployed on that product.
