MSC Bellissima entered service in February 2019 as Meraviglia's near-identical sister ship. She is one of MSC's principal UK-market ships, running Northern Europe and Mediterranean itineraries from Southampton in summer and Middle East programmes in winter.
Structurally and functionally Bellissima mirrors Meraviglia — same Galleria, same Cirque du Soleil venue, same Yacht Club configuration — with modest refinements to dining and retail based on lessons from the lead ship.
For UK cruisers, Bellissima is the most straightforward on-ramp to the modern MSC product: no-fly Southampton departures, English as the primary announcement language, and a Yacht Club product that competes head-to-head with P&O's higher grades and Cunard's Britannia Club.
