MSC Armonia was originally built in 2001 for Festival Cruises as European Vision and joined MSC in 2004 following Festival's collapse. She was lengthened in 2014 as the first ship in the Renaissance Programme.
Armonia matches Lirica and Opera in scale and onboard format, with the same traditional (non-Yacht Club) product and equivalent stateroom count following the mid-body insertion. She has historically served both Mediterranean and Cuban itineraries and remains one of the fleet's principal small-ship deployments.
The lack of Yacht Club, LED promenade or dry slide keeps her firmly in the value tier — a Bella fare on Armonia is often among the cheapest ways onto any modern European cruise ship.
