Meraviglia Class was MSC's coming-of-age. Introduced in 2017 with MSC Meraviglia and continued through Bellissima, Grandiosa and Virtuosa, the class introduced the Galleria Meraviglia — an indoor two-deck promenade with a full-length LED sky ceiling — and the exclusive Cirque du Soleil at Sea partnership.
The Meraviglia-Plus sub-class (Grandiosa and Virtuosa) added an extra deck, a larger Yacht Club, and MSC's most complete children's facilities. The class is the everyday workhorse of MSC's European deployment: Mediterranean in summer, Northern Europe and the UK in shoulder seasons, and the Caribbean in winter.
For the mass-market guest, Meraviglia-class ships remain arguably the best balance in the fleet — big enough to carry the full MSC experience, small enough to feel navigable, and consistently available at competitive Bella and Fantastica pricing.
