Fantastica is the middle rung of MSC's four-tier fare ladder (Bella, Fantastica, Aurea, Yacht Club). It is the tier most guests actually book: it costs modestly more than Bella but unlocks the ship-choice options that matter to most cruisers — dining time, cabin location, and a handful of family-friendly perks.
The core Fantastica benefit is flexibility. Guests choose their preferred dining time at booking (Bella guests are assigned), can select their exact cabin rather than accepting a run-of-category allocation, and are eligible for a small welcome package plus complimentary room service breakfast.
Fantastica does not include a drinks package or spa access — those come with Aurea. It is the correct choice for cost-conscious cruisers who want the location and dining flexibility but who plan to buy drinks à la carte or add a package selectively.
For families, Fantastica also unlocks free or reduced fares for third and fourth guests in the cabin on most sailings, which materially changes the maths versus a Bella booking.
