Fantasia Class launched in 2008 with MSC Fantasia and was the first class in mainstream cruising to feature a true ship-within-ship enclave, the MSC Yacht Club. Four ships followed: MSC Splendida (2009), MSC Divina (2012) and MSC Preziosa (2013).
Physically these ships are a full generation smaller than the World-class flagships, but they retain the core MSC formula — Italian design, multilingual crew, an aggressive value proposition, and a genuinely elevated Yacht Club product at the top of the ship. Divina in particular has developed a loyal US following through years of year-round Caribbean deployment.
Today Fantasia-class ships primarily serve the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and seasonal repositioning itineraries. They remain in strong condition following the fleet-wide MSC For Me refit programme.
