Aurea is the top fare tier available in MSC's standard staterooms, positioned as a wellness-oriented premium experience for guests who don't want to pay Yacht Club pricing but want a materially better product than the mid-tier Fantastica or entry-level Bella.
The Aurea proposition centres on the Aurea Spa and the Sundeck Solarium: guests get complimentary access to the thermal area, discounts on treatments, and a bookable spa treatment credit. Cabins are almost always balconies (or higher) on preferred decks, and priority embarkation is included.
The tier includes the Easy Plus drinks package as standard — an important inclusion, because MSC's drinks packages are otherwise a significant onboard cost. On sailings where the Easy Plus package retails at €40+ per person per day, the Aurea upgrade often pays for itself before any spa or cabin benefits are considered.
Aurea sits below Yacht Club and above the mid-tier Fantastica. It is the sweet spot for couples who want a genuinely relaxed cruise on an MSC ship without stepping up to the enclave.
