Fort Lauderdale — Grand World Voyage base

Zuiderdam entered service in December 2002 as the first Vista-class ship. She alternates with Rotterdam as HAL's Grand World Voyage flagship on the annual 120+ night circumnavigation.

Zuiderdam is HAL's most-deployed long-voyage ship and a regular on Panama Canal, Amazon, and South American itineraries. Her mid-size footprint reaches ports the Pinnacle-class flagships cannot.

She has received progressive Music Walk, Pinnacle Grill, and Tamarind upgrades but retains her more traditional early-2000s HAL layout.
