Westerdam entered service in April 2004 as the third Vista-class ship. She operates as HAL's Asia-Pacific specialist with a spring season out of Yokohama covering Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan before repositioning to Vancouver for Alaska summer.
Westerdam is HAL's most consistently deployed Asia ship and one of the few Western-branded cruise ships to run regular Japan and Korea sailings alongside her Alaska programme.
Refurbishments have added the modern HAL specialty-dining line-up and Music Walk.
