At roughly 61,000 GT and 1,432 double-occupancy guests they are a full generation smaller than the Pinnacle-class flagships and consequently reach smaller South American, Alaskan, and South Pacific ports the larger ships cannot enter. Volendam is HAL's second world-cruise flagship alongside Zuiderdam.
