Scenic Group

Scenic Group began as an Australian touring company and grew into a vertically integrated operator that builds, owns and runs its own ships rather than chartering them. Two brands sit under the group: Scenic at the ultra-luxury, all-inclusive end and Emerald at the premium-luxury end.

Emerald was launched in 2014 as the deliberately less formal, better-value sibling — river Star-Ships across Europe and South East Asia, then ocean yachts from 2022.

The group's design signature is engineering-led: sun-deck pools with retractable roofs, glass-walled Sky Lounges and, on the Scenic side, submarines and helicopters carried aboard discovery yachts.
