The Star-Ships are Emerald's river vessels, purpose-built for the Danube, Rhine, Main, Moselle, Rhône, Seine and Douro, with a smaller variant for the Mekong.
The engineering signature is the indoor pool aft on the sun deck: heated, glass-roofed, and converted each evening into a cinema with tiered seating.
Cabins use panoramic balconies — a full-height window that lowers at the touch of a button — rather than a conventional step-out balcony, which preserves interior space on a narrow hull.
River sailings are the most inclusive product Emerald sells: all meals, drinks with lunch and dinner, gratuities, Wi-Fi, e-bikes and a daily excursion in every port.
