Emerald Cruises is the value-led half of Scenic Group: the same shipbuilding programme and largely the same operating standards, sold at a price point that undercuts the ultra-luxury lines by a wide margin.
About Emerald Cruises
The ocean fleet consists of Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara, near-identical 100-guest yachts of around 5,300 GT. Their size is the product: they berth in small harbours in Croatia, the Greek islands and the Red Sea that are physically unavailable to ships even twice their length.
Each yacht carries a marina platform, a small fleet of tenders, kayaks and paddleboards, an infinity-style pool aft and a spa and gym forward — an unusually complete facility list for a vessel of that tonnage.
The river side operates Star-Ships across the Danube, Rhine, Rhône, Douro and Mekong, distinguished by the sun-deck pool that converts to a cinema under a retractable roof.
Inclusivity sits a step below Regent or Silversea: fares include most meals, selected drinks with lunch and dinner, gratuities on river sailings and a daily excursion on many itineraries, but not flights or unlimited premium spirits.
