Celebrity Xcel launched in November 2025 as the fifth Edge-class ship and the third in the Edge-plus generation, bringing incremental technical upgrades and a refreshed Retreat design language.
Xcel introduces the most extensive Retreat-tier updates yet — new Iconic Suite layouts, an expanded Retreat Sundeck bar programme, and Ascent-plus generation dining venues including a reimagined Le Voyage. Standard cabin categories receive updated bathrooms and connectivity.
The ship also marks Celebrity's most complete LED-forward wayfinding and biometric embarkation implementation. Deployment for 2026 is Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale — expect Mediterranean repositioning later in her career.
