Celebrity Solstice entered service in November 2008 as the first Solstice-class ship — the generation that transitioned Celebrity from a solid premium operator to a genuine design-forward brand.

The class introduced the Lawn Club — a real half-acre of grass on the top deck — plus a fleet-wide refresh of dining and service standards. Solstice herself was the design-language template for the four sister ships that followed.

Following the Revolution refit programme, Solstice-class ships now carry an updated Retreat overlay, refreshed cabins, and modernised public spaces. Solstice sails a year-round Australia and New Zealand programme, making her the correct Celebrity choice for guests targeting the South Pacific.
