Celebrity Beyond launched in April 2022 as the first Edge-plus generation ship — 20 metres longer than Edge, an extra deck, and the most complete Retreat complex Celebrity has built.
Beyond added a full extra passenger deck to the Edge platform, a materially larger Retreat sundeck and Luminae, and a redesigned Sunset Bar by Nate Berkus that is now one of the most photographed spaces at sea. Two-storey Iconic Suites (originally on Edge) grew to true villa scale.
The rooftop garden and pool deck were re-engineered around better shade and social zoning, addressing one of the original Edge's weaknesses. For a suite-class booking on Celebrity, Beyond is typically the highest-value target of the current fleet.
Deployment splits between Mediterranean summers from Rome and Caribbean winters from Fort Lauderdale, with occasional transatlantic repositioning.
