Celebrity Ascent entered service in November 2023 as the fourth Edge-class ship and the second in the Edge-plus generation. She is the polished, most-refined expression of the class.
Ascent shares Beyond's hull dimensions and Retreat footprint but adds Ascent-generation cabin upgrades, an improved Eden staging system, and further refinements across specialty dining. The Retreat here is functionally identical to Beyond's — the reference product against which NCL's Haven and MSC's Yacht Club are now measured.
Deployment is Caribbean-heavy, running year-round from Fort Lauderdale with occasional Mediterranean repositioning. For US guests wanting the most refined Edge-class product without waiting for Xcel-class deployment maturity, Ascent is typically the correct booking.
