    Part of the fleet

    AmaWaterways

The active, food-led river line — daily guided cycling and hiking, a Chaîne des Rôtisseurs dining programme and the twin-hull AmaMagna.

    Introduced
    2010
    Gross tonnage
    ~3,000 GT
    Capacity
    144–164 guests

The European fleet is a long run of sisters — AmaLucia, AmaSonata, AmaSiena, AmaKristina and a dozen more — built to near-identical specification. They are grouped here as a class because that is what they are in practice.

The signature is the twin balcony: most staterooms combine a step-out outside balcony with a French balcony in the same room, so the whole cabin front opens.

Every ship carries a Chef's Table speciality restaurant at the stern at no extra charge, a heated sun-deck pool with a swim-up bar on most hulls, and a fleet of bicycles for guided or independent riding ashore.

Dining is open-seating in the main restaurant with regional wines poured at lunch and dinner, and the line's Chaîne des Rôtisseurs membership sets the standard the galley works to.
