Amadeus Star, Queen, Imperial, Cara and Nova form the current generation, built at Lüftner's regular Dutch yard to a common specification.
The signature is the drop-down panorama window: a full-height pane that lowers into the wall, converting the cabin front into an open-air balcony without surrendering floor space.
Public rooms include the main Panorama Restaurant, a smaller Amadeus Club lounge aft that doubles as an à la carte venue, a river terrace at water level and a sun deck with a walking track and shuffleboard.
The onboard programme is Austrian in character — classical concerts ashore in Vienna and Budapest, a Wachau-led wine list, and a galley that treats Austrian and Bavarian cooking as the house style rather than a theme night.
